My boyfriend just said he’s glad that he can have an intelligent conversation with me, and that I’m not an “airy fuck toy”.

I have made an important discovery.

Procrastination is not just something that occurs during school.

Graduating from college and being deemed an “adult” does not make you stop procrastinating.

Those moments when you’re so incredibly tired, and know that you should sleep before the next crazy amount of work you have to do, but you dont want to miss a single second of this.

Sometimes things make me really sad.

Like nicknames, and driving alone. They make me want to curl up, and be alone, but at the same time, not be alone at all. They make me want to talk to people, but I often find there is no one to talk to, or that the only person I can think to talk to lives very far away in a different life that I don’t want to intrude on.

So instead, I try not to feel anything at all.

Apathy is a hell of a drug.

So last night I parked my car like an asshole to save a spot for my parents. I am having anxiety over the fact that I am being an ass to other strangers to help my parents. This is a real thing, and I’m antsy and freaking out about it.

Eliz. Warren wants to cut student interest rates to near zero

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has introduced her first piece of legislation. It’s called the Bank on Students Loan Fairness Act, and would reduce the rate students pay on federally-subsidized student loans for one year, from 3.4% to 0.75%.

Without congressional action, on July 1 the rate is set to double from 3.4% to 6.8%.

Warren brings up an interesting point – her bill simply asks students to pay the same rates that big banks pay for borrowing.

She’s literally just asking if college grads can get the same deal as bank CEOs. The exact same interest rate. Not even a bailout or anything fancy (pipe dreams!) - just the same interest rate.

I wish politicians gave as much of a shit about us as Elizabeth Warren does.

We definitely need more politicians like Warren.

frankly I’d feel blessed if they’d stop raising the interest. this bill is amazing but it seems inconceivable that it will pass.

This week has been brutal.

I dont even have any finals, but I’ve been insanely sick. Last night, I had a 103° fever. My whole body hurts. Its almost impossible to swallow. Coughing hurts my throat and head. And I have to graduate in 2 days.
